DESIGNING A DIFFERENCE

Boathouse and Inside Lacrosse are partnering with some of the sport’s greats, who are doing great things to give back. Each Thursday through May, Insidelacrosse.com will showcase an athlete, their cause, and their limited-edition LAX gear design. Boathouse.com will feature and sell the one-of-a-kind gear, with half of all net proceeds going directly to the athlete’s cause of their choice.

CHRIS BOCKLET

After winning a National Championship with Virginia, Chris, along with his three other siblings founded X10 lacrosse. X10 is a summer lacrosse program built on the family’s common vision of promoting what they feel is most important in a kid’s life, balance. Chris helps kids to find a healthy balance between lacrosse, outdoor adventure and leadership building.

BRETT HUGHES

Former pro defenseman, Brett Hughes, is the Co-Founder of Lacrosse the Nations. With programs in both Nicaragua and Costa Rica, LtN works to unify the lacrosse community to help improve education and health, while creating hope and opportunity for children in need.

CHAZZ WOODSON

One of the most electrifying athletes to play the game, Chazz is an educator, now mentoring athletes through Sankofa Lacrosse and Nation United initiatives. The Sankofa Lacrosse Alliance (SLA) is formed with the intent of using Lacrosse as a catalyst for achievement among the undersserved communities of the US.

CONNOR MARTIN

One of the biggest personalities in the sport, Connor Martin is using his stardom and light-heartedness to bring the fun back to summer camps. Connor and former pro teammate, Dillon Roy, co-founded Boom Town Lacrosse to help pull kids away from the stress and intensity of summer recruiting camps and teach them to have fun again.
